David O’ Mahony BCL, LLM
David O’Mahony graduated from University College Cork in 1994, with BCL and LLM degrees and qualified as a solicitor in 1996. He joined the firm as a partner in 2021.
David specialises in the areas of Employment, Family Law, and general Litigation matters. He has represented many clients successfully in every court including The Supreme Court and Labour Court.

Ronan Deasy BA, MA, LLM (candidate)
Ronan Deasy joined O’Donoghue & Associates as a solicitor in December 2022. Originally a graduate of applied languages, Ronan is currently pursuing an LLM by research at Leeds Beckett University, focusing on the topic of coercive control. He speaks Irish, Spanish and French fluently, and is a registered Irish language legal practitioner.
Ronan now practices in the firm’s property department. His areas of practice include:

Emma Horgan BCL, Cert Immigration Law & Practice
Emma Horgan joined O’ Donoghue and Associates in 2019 and is a trainee solicitor with the firm. Emma holds an Honours Degree in Law from UCC and has also completed the Law Society Certificate in Immigration Law and Practice. Emma works primarily in the areas of residential and commercial conveyancing, and immigration law with a particular focus on citizenship applications.
